Despite having done a clean install, unfortunately magisk still does not work. When I install magisk, the phone restarts continuously in recovery.

Same for me as for some others, recovery seems to be gone, didn't try installing it again via fastboot yet. Mi9 (cepheus)

Hello, people.
On my Mi Max 3 don't download OTA update, but on my wife's redmi note 5 download and install.
What i can do with it?

MMS not working for me on this update or 9.4.18 except for Xiaomi Messaging -- Google Messages, Textra, etc. will not send MMS.
My APN settings are correct, and the carrier manually refreshed my network connection. MMS has worked in past updates.

Hi there.
Thanks form Android 9.0 for MI6.

Still even after this release cant install Magisk Manager says error on TWRT recovery.

Anyone knows how passover this.

Thanks. Best Regards

In my case after 3 hours still working.

Good news then, Xiaomi might've fixed it!

*Edit*
For those people who're still not getting Gmail notifications unless the app is opened.

.)Try setting notifcation settings for each configured mail account as urgent
.)Enable autostart for gmail

Just did those two things and they're working again.

Message for the team:

Will the problem of restarting with magisk be solved in a short time, or do you recommend returning to a stable and working version?

Thanks

This can only be solved from Magisk side. It is not rom related.
If your phone is not A/B partition you should install Magisk canary latest beta version.

After downloading and clicking Install, it booted into Red Wolf how come if I have TWRP? That's the first time it happened...
Anyone else?

Help me.

After install update via twrp in to xiaomi mi 9.. Rebooted to system... And cant Enter again to twrp! Keeps booting to system...

If i reflash recovery via adb i loose my photos and vídeos? Personal data?

Everytime there is an update I see people complaining that they stuck on bootloop, or lost TWRP.

Don't get me wrong but I never had any problems. Coming from HTC phones the last 7 years I must say that Xiaomi.eu ROM is very very simple to update.

First of all you need to understand that these are BETA ROMs and are bound to have issues. That's a risk you take.
Secondly if you are here, it means you unlocked your bootloader, flashed a custom recovery and have basic knowledge on flashing roms.

So as a rule, DO NOT use the updater to flash the ROM when it's released. Download it, but don't install it yet
Boot into recovery and take a nandroid backup. This is 99% of the update process. If you do that, then you can restore back to the previous version in case of any problems

Sorry for the long post but I needed to say my piece.

Thanks

By flashing TWRP recovery you don't lose anything

What TWRP did you have installed?

There are no problems on the version from wzsx150 (booth 410 and 423 version).

Just an addition: for weekly updates I never made a "clean flash".

Well. First thank for the android pie for my Mi6.

Second the camera is completely broken.
The sock camera doesn't shoot anything because asks for the SD card.

Other problem is that the phone system wide, thinks it has an SD card installed, so some apps don't even open.

The camera is completely broken too.

Thank you anyway, for the hard work.
