Hi,

I've a problem with the chrome brwoser since many rom-versions:

There are black shadows in all corners. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a solution for this?

Mi 8 here, might be the worst release since i use this rom (ie: since i receive the phone lol).

> double tap to wake make the screen flickering to death
> black screen freeze on phone wake up
> lockscreen overlaying everything after phone unlocked
> pulldown notification screen remaining in "overlay" without asking it.
> bugs and lags in multitasking (small vignettes remaining on screen after switching app)

It seems that all thoses bugs à lockscreen related

i go back to previous release but keep up the good work

You need to go to TWRP, go to FORMAT, type "yes" to fully re-format the storage to remove the encryption, before you install xiaomi.eu ROM.
This a ”one-off" requirement for initial install, then you should be able to "dirty flash" over the top for following weeks releases.

This happened to me after trying this. I don't know if it does considering as bug or faulty of rom. Yet this is what happened to my mi mix 2.

I GO TO SDCARD File and i only find files with BIG NAMES

Guys I'm having problems with the "open with" feature: every time I need to open a link/file/whatever from an app to another I get asked to choose which app to use... And it keeps doing it over and over, no matter if I set to "always use this" every single time.

Anyone with this issue? I'm facing it since previous release... Can't realise what could I "reset" to make it stop boring me!


I also confirm the untouchable PiP issue on both Max 3 and Mi Pad 4

9.74 running good on RN5 Pro only when unrooted. When I boot into recovery to flash magisk 19.3, it boots to the point where I enter PIN and PW, then shuts off and reboots. Any idea why that is? Thanks.

Todos morning i see a batery drain on RN7, and how i can make to go back to a previus version, the last i did the rom ask me for a password, i put muy previus and the same password i use and nothing happend

After the clean flash and two days with this rom the errors on my Mi Mix 3 coming again. 1st the screen was black, not usable until a restart. 2nd i couln´t do any operation, the screen was inoperable. When i tried to restart, there upcoming graphical overlays - three or four apps at the same times were displayed. I restarted again and wantes to go into recovery mode, but I saw in the settings, that I couldn´t activate the developer options, so the pc wasn´t able to recognice my device. I´ve rebooted manually into recovery and flashed the version from last week. All problems are away. Don´t know, what´s wrong in this version for some devices, but some oft the changes coming with this rom are creating basic system bugs. Hope, this will be fixed in the next version... a backup is more important than before in the near future.

The Clear all data has been run on the Updater app few times.

Please, search in this forum before post this. Igor has been said that in China beta ROM some devices had issues with this update, so, he switched off the availability in OTA.
If you want to install this ROM, please, download it and update manually by selecting the package from this screen.

The video did it wrong too.
If you read carefully there are steps in original post how to install the rom:

* TWRP Recovery Zip DOWNLOAD or TWRP.ME
* FORMAT /data partition (NEVER wipe System or Persist!)
* Copy our ROM to the internal storage
* Install our ROM
* Reboot
* done
