Same hereRN7 lavender with 9.8.9 rom
After the update, proximity sensor no more working. Using hidden menu, the test fails (no way to run calibration or test)
I've been able to use again sensor, installing "Proximity sensor test" from Play store. Running "Fix" option, the phone require ti reboot....and after the sensor works againg
Also hidden menu works again, and i can again run calibration
Thank you for replying! And yes. I checked and I got all of that set. And it works, but every time I reboot the device, the feature stops working even though it's set enabled in the "Button Shortcuts" category. The only way to make it work again, is to disabled and enable the feature. And if I reboot it, it stops working again.Settings -> Apps -> Manage apps -> (menu icon) -> Default apps
Make sure Google is selected in both "Assist & voice input -> Assist app" and "Voice assistant -> Wake with button shortcuts".
Not on my device.Ok mi 8 massive battery drain fix in next update please !!!
Mi 9 here. In Android Q Google pay stopped working
Is there any workaround to get it back?
Is it possible to downgrade do 9.8.8? Dirty flash over 9.8.10?
So now you able to access settings again? That's what I ended doing last night before I left work. 9.8.8 is working fine.

NFC works for me on 9.8.10, at least NFC tag read works.NFC doesn't work with Q yet so Google Pay won't work.
Thanks for the tip, I will try it next time!Confirmed - NFC - google pay working - fix: should be change HCE NFC to SIM and switch back to HCE.
Got exactly the same issue on Mi 9 with 9.8.10, it was because of the dirty flash, after wiping and flashing again I was able to process with the setup wizard (except for Google cloud restore not working on this version for me)

Good battery stats! I wish the Galaxy wearable app support android Q to use my watch... It says version not compatible... Otherwise I would have stayed on this versionSame here Google cloud can t restore on 9.8.10 but battery is verry good View attachment 25723

Whatever the problem is, it affects the payments... I already had secure element position set to HCE as always, but with my 3rd-party payment app (otpmobil.simple) I cannot pay, the POS terminal displays unsupported card.
Thanks for the tip, I will try it next time!
