Cool anyone tried this on the incredible ? Lol

Sent from my HTC Incredible using the miui-dev.com Forums App

I will add the Incredible in the next Release! :D

Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk

if works, shouldn`t be too hard to add nexus one support since its mostly similar to desire

I can add every Device that are S-OFF! (That accept Adb and fastboot)... :)

Any chance of Evo support? Arguably the most popular phone in the forums (based on the fact that it's second in thread count only to the Incredible but has twice as many posts).

Edit: got excited, jumped the gun, and missed this post:

Evo doesn't accept Adb and fastboot? ><

Just, you can download it, and then wait for the up to date :)

Well, some Evos can do fastboot. All Evos do adb just fine. Those that have the enngineering hboot have fastboot. Any Evo hboot higher than .76 does not have fastboot.

Edit: I see where you got confused. When I quoted you I just meant that you had already answered my question, basically affirmatively, in the post before mine, and I didn't have to ask.

Okay, I need some help for other phones :

If your phone accepte fastboot and adb ( so flash HBOOT, Recovery and SplashScreen, and others...) please do that :

1/ Name of your device :

2/ HBOOT :
- HBOOT 1 : specifity - download
- HBOOT 2 : specifity - download
- HBOOT 3 : specifity - download
...

3/ Recovery :
- Recovery 1 : specifity - download
- Recovery 2 : specifity - download
...

4/ the size of the SplashScreen

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Exemple :

Name : HTC Desire

HBOOT :
- HBOOT data++ : more space for data - download link
- HBOOT Oxygen : HBOOT of Oxygen ROM, more space for system and data - download link
...

Recovery :
- ClockWork : Best one - download link
- Amon_RA : Best for flash non signed ROM - download link

SplashScreen size : 480x800 (in pixel)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks in advance for helping me in my project !

Phone: HTC Evo

HBOOT:
HBOOT 0.76.000.200 (Engineering hboot)
Download: http://db.tt/Llsfvgm

Recovery:
Amon RA - generally preferred for Evo (Clockwork got a bad rep for lost wimax keys and spotty wiping; wimax key problems fixed now, though)
Download: http://db.tt/u6ApABG

SplashScreen size: 480x800

Thanks a lot !

HTC Evo wil be in the next Release...

PS : Do it for your phone, I can't add device if I haven't informations about it....

For SplashScreen, is it the same way as HTC Desire ?

fastboot flash splash1 splash1.img ?

I saw on google other way... I don't want to brick your phone....

That's the right command, but the files are *.rgb565, not .img. Is it different for Desire?

Ohoh....

It's .img on Desire... I've upload a version that flash .img on Evo... I delete it now ! Can you give me the tool that convert .png to .rgb565 ? Thanks :)

Edit : For HBOOT and Recovery, it's .img... Right ?!

Here's a guide to do it manually on a computer. It uses Linux but links to a Windows program, too.

Here's a phone app.

Here's a guide to do it in Windows. It's one step after all the programs are installed.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=649890

Edit: Recovery and hboot are .img.

Edit 2: The first 2 links say they're for G1, but they should work for any phone. A couple details (like resolution) are different, but those things shouldn't matter.

Okay....

I don't understand very well how to convert it... It's very hard as Desire... There is no way that we can flash .img ???... U know how to convert it...

Right now, the program won't convert picture... It'll just flash it... Sorry, but I don't understand for HTC Evo...

Does the app not work?

The app works ;-)

It just doesn't convert .png picture, so you've to have your .rgb565 file ! But it works ! It flash HBOOT .img, Recovery .img and SplashScreen .rgb565... =)

I'm uploading on my server !

That works for me. I have .rgb565 files already.

Edit: I'll have to test it later. My phone's dying, and my laptop's already dead.
