New Apps not showing notifications after some time of not using them

If I don't use an application for some hours (don't know how many exactly) I stop getting notifications for it.
I've set:
Battery saver- No restrictions
Autostart- On

Is it a known issue? What can be done about it?

Notifications are unreliable on Android 13 with MIUI 14. This is all we can set to work properly. - hold your finger on the app icon > click on app info - background autostart > enable - permissions > show on lock screen - notification > check settings - battery saver > No restrictions...
