Hi,

I have upgraded to the latest version of MIui 13.0.4 on my MI 11 and noticed 2 issues below.

1. Dual whatsapp unable to download pictures or send pictures. The main whatsapp is fine, the dualapp is not working fine. I have cleared cache and internet is working fine, still unable to download or upload.

2. bluetooth works fine, but unable to AUTO connect for already paired devices after turning the bluetooth ON. I need to manually find the device and click on it to connect. Earlier it used to connect automatically after turning the bluetooth on in my Mi 11.

Please fix these 2 bugs in the next build. Please let me know if you need any more details. Please find the picture attached for you proof.

Thanks
RP

The devs don't need pictures, they need logs.
Please advise how can I upload the bluetooth problem log. I have deleted and reinstalled the whatsapp, and somehow could resolve it. But the bluetooth even after reset/clear cache/clear data nothing works. I still need to manually click on the paired device to connect. Does it work fine on your phone ?

Do you want me to send the logs for this bluetooth problem or a reinstall of the rom will fix it. Do you reckon ?

Thanks

if you want make a logcat
https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/guide-logging-with-adb-logcat.63684/

start logcat… start app… wait for issue… stop logcat
search for fatal exeption as example or post it but not 3697 seconds of logcat :)

How to create a logcat file
# connect phone with PC and USB
# set USB debug - on
# create a textfile -> eg logfile.txt in adb folder on PC
# adb logcat > logfile.txt
# make actions on phone and wait for issue
# ctrl+c (to stop logfile recording)
# analyze the logfile
# send the last eg 5 seconds, the relevant entries

hi mate, I have done the same exactly as per the sent link and uploaded the file on mediafire. I am not sure if its safe to upload the log file as it might have some critical info and sent you separately. Please delete all the critical info and upload here or u can send it to me back so that I can upload here. Hope its ok with you. Appreciate your help. Please check the log file and advise if its all good or you want me to upload again a new one.

Thanks again.

My Bluetooth stopped reconnecting to known and saved Bluetooth devices too, but long before 13.0.4. Don't remember if the issue appeared in 12.x eu roms, but it definitely doesn't reconnect since 13.x.
I first noticed that when I had to manually reconnect to my car stereo every time I start the car.
Then I found out it was the same with 2 Sony Bluetooth speakers, a Denon receiver, a pair of JBL headphones and now with a brand new pair of JBL earbuds, so basically it doesn't reconnect to any Bluetooth device automatically.
However, when I connect manually, connection is stable and reliable. Once it drops for whatever reason, I have to manually connect again, regardless of the device type or brand.
I have no issues with data, wifi or NFC, infrared works too.
I tried fiddling with the Bluetooth options in developer options - Bluetooth version, a2dp, avrcp, codecs, hardware offloading, MAP, as well as enable/disable Bluetooth scanning and nitrate and sample rate.
Also tried deleting and pairing the devices again, turning airplane mode on and off, enabling and disabling the gebledorsche or whatever the name was :)
No success.
Interesting enough, according Murphy's law I've just installed logcat, turned Bluetooth on and of and it reconnected for the first time in months, so it renders the logcat record irrelevant :)
Edit:and now it's not reconnecting again...
Here is the log while turning Bluetooth of and on and reconnecting manually, but I haven't rooted and I think the log is crap. Mi10T, xiaomi.eu 13.0.4.

Oh, hey, there's a pattern, when I have a device connected and turn Bluetooth off then on from phone settings, it reconnects.
If the connection drops forcibly, for example if I shut down the device or the car, then it doesn't reconnect when I turn the device on again.
