Cannot Login Google Account Connection

hi All,

I just bought my redmi2 with 2G 16gb from eu warehouse gearbest
Shipped to Netherlands.

Yesterday received the package , device looks very nice but since yesterday night I am trying to get the google account activated.

When I fill my gmail and passw it sayd connection cannot login please try later.

Have searched on google and tried lots of things things no success.
Cache clear (was empty )
Re-install google apps
With , without simcard , wifi ....
Reset to factory about 5 times now

Anyone else faced same problem ?

I also just bought the same phone from the same supplier and having the same issue.

Are you sure you flashed the ROM from this forum or do you use the stock rom?

The solution was to download and install: Google Play services 6.5.85 (1589008-036)

YES, installing the above mentioned apk file solved the problem!
Looked like the playstore app was not even installed in the redmi2pro....

I already tried delete google play and install apk but no succes.

Today got info howto install eu rom and it worked for me.

Am happy with my new phone !

I've had the same problem. The phone arrived yesterday and I couldn't connect to the google acount. i've just installed the google play services listed above after factory reset and it seems the phone works properly now. I've just download the whatsapp apk from play store. Before install the google play services apk, the play store wasn't able to connect.
