New Can't close wi-fi

Hi,

I am trying to close my wi-fi but I can't. Everytime I close it, after few secs it starts automatically. Even when I am trying to use Data (because wi-fi is not available), the phone disables Data and enables wi-fi! I tried to create a logcat but it didn't show anything. All i get is:

* daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 *
* daemon started successfully *

I am using Xiaomi Mi2s, Android 4.1.1, MIUI-3.12.6. Any ideas?

Might this be the power settings within the security suite?
I thought this latest update broke my data until it was pointed out where to check.

It was pointed out to me to check the power settings too but it was right after I had flashed a fresh rom to my mi2s. The wifi problem is gone but I am not sure which action is responsible

When I updated it had become active in killing my data, so I went and turned it off!
