Changing App Names

For MIUI 2.7.27, is there a mod / hack to allow me to change icon labels on the screen? On the attached screenshot, the names of some apps are too close to each other (In this case, angry birds and Sleepy Jack). I just want to make the names shorter. If there is an alternative fix for this please let me know.

You can't do that unless you decompile apk and change its name in decompiled files. But it takes some time to do that.
