New Default 24h theme buggy (latest stable)

so updated to latest 11.0.7 stable on mi9 but having problems with the default 24hr sand dune theme...was working fine before the update but been stuck at the night time part of the theme since yesterday 3pm...its 11am now and its still showing the night sand dune when it should be the morning one
anyone know whats going on??

If i disable dark mode it works.
