Double Tap To Wake

Would it be possible to add an option for DT2W into the firmware? It's the sole option I currently flash a extra kernel for which unfortunately breaks the screen colour options. It seems to have virtually zero impact on battery life and is a very useful feature for when the phone is sitting on a desk.

I have the latest developer ROM and DT2W is working well. You have to activate it from Settings-Display-Double tap screen to wake.
