Downgrade to an old xiaomi.eu rom without triggering Rollback Protection

Dears,
I have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 (Global) with

MIUI Global 9.5.19.0 on Android 8.1
--> so the Rollback Protection is ENABLED


and I would like to flash a xiaomi.eu ROM. Specifically I would like to downgrade the device to version MIUI 9.3 8.3.1 based on Android 7.1.

Is it safe? Can I proceed without triggering the rollback Protection?

Hey graw2, I know that but the current firmware has the rollback protection enabled...
If the ROM does not have the ARB, is it safe to downgrade from Android 8.1 to Android 7.1?


What will happen if, after the downgrade, I would like to flash the Official Xiaomi Global ROM again?

First upgrade to xiaomi.eu then you can safely downgrade to xiaomi.eu earlier version

Anyway what's the point of downgrade to old ROM?
