External mic and hdmi problem

I have two problems
1- Using the external mic while shooting a video. I tried a microphone with a wire, a great microphone and wireless. I tried a microphone for $10 and $100 without any benefit.. All the microphones that I tried were working in the recorder application, but when I delete a video clip, the external microphone does not work
2- Connecting the device via HDMI, I tried 30 connections at different prices, different companies, and different wires, but to no avail.

2) If I remember well, most Xiaomi devices don't have MHL support, did you verify if it is available for your model ?

There are no mhl support I'm afraid, just screen casting.

IIRC, Xiaomi smartphones NEVER support MHL.
