Fastboot Oem Device-info Fails On Redmi Note 4

Hi,

Just received my Redmi note 4 and I want to install the EU rom.
However when I start in Fastboot and check my device info (Fastboot oem device-info) I get the message: Failed (remote: unknown command).
Doublechecked with another Xiaomi phone which gives me the required feedback.

Anyone a idea what is wrong?

Not sure if it is related to the RMN4 or Mediatek, but with Fastboot Gevtvar unlocked you can see if your device is locked or not.
