I've just replaced the front camera module for the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s, however no image is displayed on the camera app. When switching to front camera, the camera app freezes up and even the CIT test for the front camera also freezes up. However on applications such as device info, the front camera is recognised as a 5MP camera with f/2.0 apature. I'm on the latest MIUI (MIUI 11).
This is the replacement I used: ebay item: 223615865273 (its a front camera for the mi mix 2 however I assumed they used the same camera so it wouldnt be an issue)
If somebody could point me to a direction I could use to identify the issue, maybe its a compability issue? I have no idea, any help is appreciated.
