Gallery And Notes Apps Keeps Crashing In Miui Stable Update 8.2 Cranco (mi4)

I've updated my MI4 with the stable 8.2 rom, and after restart the phone, it keeps crashing the gallery and the notes apps.
I've read that a solution could be enabling location services for the gallery, but someone replied that the fix don't work. I haven't tried it because I don't find the place to change that permission.
Has anyone found a solution?

Try Settings/Installed apps/Notes/Clear data.

Weekly to stable is downgrade, usually wipe data is necessary when downgrading.

Notes fix has worked.
Tried to do the same with gallery, but can't clear data nor cache (greyed buttons). Any idea?

Do you recommend an update to weekley Miui 8.3 - 7.2.16/17 without wiping data, or a full backup, factory reset and restore of my current 8.2 Stable?

Updated with Weekly Miui 8.3 - 7.2.16/17.
Everything seems ok again without wiping data. (didn't fancy a backup/restore action)
Gallery working. Notes working. Solved.
Also don't see the Stable ROM's benefits.
