google maps problem 'cannot open this page'

Hi when i update a google maps from the sore - after an hour or so, the main menu changes from 4 icons :
discover, car, transport, recommended to discover, commute, recommended .
everything would be good but... commute (the middle icon) throw error "cannot open this page" with old version from appkmirror and with four icons on the botom it works, generally i see some problems with public transport options in the settings anyone had this issue? i very often use this option to see public transport departures...
