Hi all,

Sorry if my questions are too dumb, I'm new to Xiaomi and just have a little experience with TWRP & flashing custom ROM through it. I want to get back to stock miui 10 ROM from xiaomi.eu ROM but I'm not sure about some steps (from online tutorials on the internet), I'm afraid that these (unclear steps) can brick my mi pad 4 so I want to make sure about them before moving on. Please help me to answer below questions, thank you very much for your time and support!

1. Do I need to edit updater-script and zip the stock miui 10 ROM again as this tutorial (http://en.miui.com/thread-477499-1-1.html) mentions before flashing?
2. Should I wipe "system" when I'm in TWRP before flashing stock miui 10 ROM? (some tutorials say that we should never wipe system)
3. Do I have to flash lazyflasher-no-verity-opt-encrypt.zip after flashing stock miui 10 ROM? (I heard some people said that they just flash stock miui ROM as doing with xiaomi.eu ROM but someone says that without flashing lazy flasher, the device will get into a boot loop)
4. After flashing stock miui 10 ROM completely, twrp asks me to wipe cache/dalvik, should I do that? (afaik, stock miui ROM is an odex rom so I think that this step can damage the system)
5. After flashing stock miui 10 ROM successfully (in case everything is ok) and I can use the pad normally, can I update OTA as usual?

Shortest route might be just to flash factory image to it with MiFlash (use Clean all option), this makes it 100% official state.

Stable MIUI 10 factory image is not yet available(?), need to use MIUI 9 and upgrade OTA or use developer version.

1. Updater script does not need modifications anymore, it is TWRP compatible.

2. AFAIK MIUI full rom zips installs partition image to system so no need to wipe.

Thank you very much for your help, I tried flashing factory image to my mi pad 4 with MiFlash and that did exactly what I want.

Everything is ok to me now but I'm still curious about questions 3, 4 and 5, maybe they will help someone else in another case. Do you (or another one) know the answers for them?

Stock Miui = China Rom, you don't need the lazyflasher but you should "format data/factory reset" before flashing(twrp) or with MiFlash - wipe all & flash.
Data partition will be encrypted.

Yes, you can wipe cache & dalvik.

Btw: Miui isn't odexed and it does not matter with wipe cache &/or dalvik.
