How can I accept an incoming file from another device using bluetooth?

I want to transfer phone contacts from my blackberry bold 990o to my Red Rice Xiaomi.

It's a simple process...

Make both devices discoverable, search and find both.
Pair the devices. Easy
Select Redmi ( Xiaomi ( from list of paired devices )
Select 'Transfer contacts' on Blackberry
A pop up message on the Redmi says "incoming file... confirm to accept "

HOW?

There is no option/button on the Redmi saying 'accept" ( which is normal on the receiving device )

Finally a pop up message says "No file received"

I've tried sending a simple image file just to test the bluetooth receiving process on the Xiaomi and the same problem..

Maybe I have missed a setting somewhere? If so, I will be very grateful for some guidance>

I have the same problem with some type of file: miui accepts pdf or zip files but refuses epub and rar.
Why?

1) root your phone
2) install busybox
3) install wsm tools (xposed installer for miui roms)
4) download and install bluetooth toolkit module, and enable the same in wsm tools.
Then try.
