I bought a redmi note 2 prime from gearbest. It came preinsalled with miui 6. Managed to update to miui 7 5.10.16 beta but it is really buggy. I cont pull down the notification shade somethimes and other things. I tried to update to miui 7 v7 stable ROM following the instructions from the website but I got the "signature verification failed" error. I got this error when I tried updating my phone when I was on miui 6. I upgraded to miui 7 5.10.16 beta following a thread. I wiped AL data in recovery mode and selected install. That time it worked and now I'm stuck on that buggy miui 7 beta. If you can help me please do. I want to upgrade to the latest official stable global version.
