How do you enable MIUI optimizations in Xiaomi.EU

I was questioning myself, why official MIUI feels a bit smoother than EU rom and appears to me that maybe it's because of MIUI optimizations is enabled in official rom. To prove my theory I'd like to enable MIUI optimizations on the EU rom but the toggle is missing. So I have two questions:

1. Why MIUI optimizations toggle is not present in EU rom?
2. Is it possible to enable MIUI optimizations in EU rom?

Like said above, MIUI optimization is enabled by default. The toggle is hidden because users should not touch it. It was always meant for development purposes, not to be abused by normal end-users who don't know the consequences of disabling it. As for "why Youtube Vanced didn't ask me to disable MIUI optimizations" - ask Youtube Vanced developers. Maybe they added an exception for our ROMs, I got no clue.

Try a different theme or modify it? Themes that don't have icons for some apps often take the default icon and put it inside a frame, in this case the designer wanted them to be small.
