If you want to download the newest A12 weekly download it from here:

A description how to install it you can find here. Scroll down to section "OLD FASTBOOT GUIDE"

Then it depends if you install the xiaomi.eu rom for the first time or as an update
# For Windows OS ./windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.bat
# For Windows OS ./windows_fastboot_update_rom.bat

Try this and come back if it is not working - please with a detailed description what you did and the issue

If you want to download A11 ROM then you can download the fastboot version from here (in most cases)
www.mifirm.net
Perhaps inside the fastboot version are no *.bat files, then you have to use the MiFlash Tool

Be sure your bootloader is unlocked and dont check "lock" in MiFlash

Hello I wanted to install the new Miui 12.5.8 for my Mi 11 Lite 5G but the only available file is the fastboot one. I currently have the EU 12.5.5 installed via TWRP. Will the fastboot version work? I have no experience yet from any fastboot files.

Hello guys,
As i never installed a rom via fastboot mode
I have the MI11 Lite 5G NE from my wife and i want to install the xiaomi.eu stable ROM ( normally will be unlock tommorrow )
Is it obliged to install it with the fastboot mode like on the page 1 here, or i can wait for a zip ROM ( not fastboot) and install just like normal installation zip via TWRP, without passing from the computer ?
Thank you

Why do you ask questions that have been answered many times?

If TWRP does not work, it will only be a fastboot ROM.
For instructions on how to install it, select the method : installing fastboot ROM

Hi Gogo, sorry for that I did not read all the posts !!
Just wanted to be sure the way how to

Hi there. i hope u can help me with this weird problem i got trying to install this rom. I got the mi 11 lite 5g with a rom from Orange (12.5.3) , the phone company. As they are pretty lazy about updating I just want to move to the best rom now, your Xioami eu rom. But I´m coming across some unexpected problems that are driving me crazy. When i open the Mi unlock app on my PC and i get into fastboot on my phone and try to unlock it ite tells me that it´s not possible cause i need to have my mi account logged into. Which is weird, cause I´m already logged in. I check the internet for some solutions and mostly they tell me to sign out and sign back in. And there comes the problem. I go to my phone and try to sign out my Mi account but it will not do it. It just gets the new screen to do it but only for a fraction of a second, and it will get back to the previous screen again. I tried turning off Find my device off, reseting and changing other patterns but none will work.
So here I am, stuck with no idea how to get to unlock my phone because of this really silly situation
Any idea how to move on and fix it?
If I do a factory reset, will I get something?
I would appreciate very much some help. I´m really looking forward to installing your rom and get the usual updates

If this was not the thread to ask this, please tell me and I will change it or post it as a new thread.

thx in advance

EDIT: i ended up factory reseting the phone. At least now on fastboot mode and with mi unlock i got the message that I have to wait 168 hours to get it unlocked. Its just one step but at least its something. I didnt remember getting 7 days to unlock it tho. Seems enormous from XIaomi. 7 days! Incredible!

Hi @gogocar62 !

Thanks again for your guide.. i'm very happy with my Stable ROM now!

I have only 1 updated "question": I just read this news:
TWRP official for MI 11 ULTRA!
(here the official download page = https://twrp.me/xiaomi/xiaomimi11ultra.html )

Since I followed your guide about 2 months ago, I definitely installed the "first" modified version of the TWRP specific for the Mi 11 Ultra, but not yet the "official" one ... what can I do if now I want to update the TWRP to this latest one official version?
Thanks again!

Do not update TWRP unless you need it

Updating to a newer build:
1. download new build to internal storage
2. go to Advanced > Install Recovery Ramdisk
4. select the new image

I flashed the 3.5.1 TWRP for my Mi 11 Ultra and there are no such options under the advanced menu. This was before TWRP officially supported Mi 11 Ultra is there any other way?

Hi everyone. I'm trying to flash a new MI 11 from China to EU.

I keep trying to download the file 'xiaomi.eu_multi_MI11_V12.5.16.0.RKBCNXM_v12-11.zip' but all I get is 'No mirrors found'??

Will this be uploaded again somewhere, or is there a newer version I've missed?

Thanks.

Hi! I on my Mi 11 Lite 5G(renoir), I have the original rom (Miui Global 12.5.6 stable) I want to get the weekly Miui 13 Xiaomi.eu. What is the best procedure?
Thanks!

There´s a new update for my Mi 11 lite 5g EU rom but it seems to have problems to download from the updater. I keep having the same messaging reporting that all download links are offline. Is it a bug or just something happening to all of you? If it doesnt work, can i Use the 3 dots above on the updater menu and just install using Select update pack, previously downloaded?
Thx

Download the fastboot version from the forums link, extract and flash using fastboot. The updater app uses recovery versions and there isn't any for your model yet.

thx for super fast answer. I´m not that good at doing this, so basically i put it into fastboot mode, and then i just flash it and let it finish and update? To extract it i need to do it on the pC first and then move it to my phone connecting it? Or i can do it on the phone itself?

- Download our ROM zip file
- Unpack downloaded zip file in the PC
- Reboot your device to fastboot mode (press volume down + power)
- Connect to PC via USB cable
- Run fastboot installation script from unpacked zip according your PC operating system:
- wait for the phone to restart itself

--- For Windows OS - windows_fastboot_update_rom.bat
--- For Linux - linux_fastboot_update_rom.sh
--- For MacOS - macos_fastboot_update_rom.sh

Just one doubt,
When I connect the phone on fastboot mode, I need Miflash, right? Because , watching a tutorial it seems sort of acceptable for me to do it with that tool. I just select the unzipped rom, and flash it there, right?
And just one more thing. I work on Windows, so what´s that .bat extension for? DO i need that?
Thx

No MiFlash ! If you have correct drivers installed you run .bat file with CMD.EXE ( command prompt ). Navigate to same folder on CMD where you unzipped rom.

look here its very detailed

You can just connect your phone in fastboot mode to your pc, extract the files on your pc and double click on the update bat file, not update_format ( it's a script that runs in a CMD window) and it will update. Just wait till it reboots before closing or removing the phone as some cust files take ages to transfer to the phone.
