HyperOS 1.0 HyperOS 1.0 STABLE RELEASE

12S Ultra (THOR) here. Got the same issue yesterday (fastboot update from 1.0.10.0.ULACNXM to 1.0.14.0.ULACNXM). Wifi/mobile data not working at all, system apps constantly crashing, phone randomly goes to reboot. Tried to run the same update via fastboot twice, didn't worked. Then, tried to downgrade to the previous version, without data wipe. No crashes this time, but just as you I can't open any app ("wait for the boot to finish before loading apps" message). Finally, decided to update without data wipe to the last version (1.0.14.0.ULACNXM) once more and all works perfectly this time.
Thanks. I've ended up doing at total wipe and install latest via fast boot. It's worked but obviously lost all the data

In this latest update, my Xiaomi 12 (cupid) is heating up more than usual. And I noticed the problem, the memory extension does not deactivate in any way, it always remains active even if the interface is not showing the extra memory. Making the device heat up more than usual.
Looking at the devcheck app, I can see that the ZRAM (memory extension) remains active even after turning it off.

Hello everyone. I have the "LISA" device updated to the latest version and it works perfectly but it crashes from time to time with a banking application. I am going to give it to my son and I would like to give him the latest official version, for Spain, which should I choose, the global one or the European one?
Many thanks to the developers, I have used the .eu rom since I bought the phone and it never gave me any problems. Thank you very much.

I had kind of the same problem with F5 PRO, I was on 1.0.12.0 and suddenly had many issues with the WIFI, couldn’t download anything with my browser, CSS on the webpage couldn’t load, extremely slow loading but watching video on YouTube works… On 4g it’s works well. I try to update to the last version (1.0.12.0), also try the OEM image 1.0.9.0, same issue.

It only resolves by downgrading to MIUI 14, both OEM and Xiaomi.eu images fix my wifi issue

zram != virtual ram

Does it really?
Exactly! You can test it yourself now. If you change the memory to 6GB more, 6GB will appear in the ZRAM in devcheck or any other application that reads it. If you change it to 8GB, 8GB will appear in the ZRAM as well. In the global ROM it disappeared when disabled and the device heated up less. In Xiaomi.eu it is not deactivating in any way, I disable it and 6GB or the last memory saved before "deactivating" remains..

I have a stock EEA HyperOS ROM on Redmi Pad SE with "Memory extension" disabled and ZRAM is still present.

ZRAM is a compressed partition in the physical RAM of the device. It is by all purposes the paging system of the Android system. It DOES NOT use physical storage.

Your stutter / heating issues have a different origin. You should start looking for them and forget about ZRAM

I'll wait for HyperOS 2 and see if it improves because I have almost nothing installed and I don't even play games on the device. I use it normally and it heats up as if I were playing. The device is new and was bought sealed and is not even 5 months old

Developer options are not end-user options.

Can you please enable this " Suspend Execution for cached apps" feature on next rom build?
Not having the feature really reduced my battery standby and i miss it a lot.
Let users choose if they want it or not.
