Updated to the latest release (HyperOS 1.0.11.0 UKBCMXM 14) in my Mi 11 (Venus) and sometimes (randomly as I haven't identified what causes it) hard crash. Sometime it needed to be charged for around 5 to 10 seconds before I need to hard reset (press and hold 10 seconds on the power button). Any thoughts on how to fix it? At this point, if I have to factory reset the phone, I rather buy a new one as I've change this phone's battery like 3 times and overheated to high heaven just from using Google Maps. But if factory resetting does fix the issue permanently/for a long time, I might consider it...
update: I do dirty flash using the updater in the phone. Package directly downloaded from the SourceForge website and installed using the install update using zip option. The overheating problem is not from the rom. The hard crash is not from overusing/overheating issue as the hard crash could occur even when the device is in idle/not being used. I don't know whether the overheating already does damages to the hardware as I do not have the knowledge to determine nor observe it.
update 2: Seems like I noticed that the hard crash is only on certain battery percentage (like 95% and so on). I'm currently ordering a new battery and will try to resolve it with that. In the meantime, any suggestion and thought about this? The current battery is still quite good in terms of how long I could use the phone, so I didn't suspect that. But after noticing what I thought is a hard crash, I noticed that the phone is okay when being charged and only certain specific percentage that the phone fully turn off, sometimes even refusing to boot for around 2-3 minutes.
update 3: Battery is not here yet, but seems like now the phone fully dead. No boot up screen, just full black screen. Question, if I pull out the battery and charge the phone, will the phone boot up or just show a black screen like the phone is fully dead? I might have hope if you said that the phone would only show a black screen. Also, should I keep updating to you guys regarding my phone? I feel like this has change from what I thought would be a rom problem to a hardware problem, which is the wrong forum to discuss this in.
