HyperOS 2.0 HyperOS 2.0 STABLE RELEASE

Xiaomi 13 Ultra / Ishtar

Update works great, smooth, and battery life seems great too. Smooth upgrade. I updated twrp to A15 version before updating hyperos.

- The IR remote app seems to crash when I load it from the notification control panel.
- No HyperOS Ai features (perhaps not available on 13 ultra)
- New icon layout took some time to get used to, but I ended up liking it.

Hello everyone!
I noticed that with all downloaded themes, some apps are not applied with the themes. For example, with the iOS 18 theme, the dialer, the settings and the opened folder in the launcher are not applied correctly with the theme. Is there already a fix for the compatibility of MIUI 14 with HyperOS 2.0 so that the themes are installed and displayed correctly again?

Many thanks in advance!

Is it to update my mondrian from global version hyperOS 1.0.13 to EU/china version 2.0.3? Or is it better to clean it up because of the big version change?

I have two questions
1) i read that there is no option for old control centre in hyperos roms, but I use hyperos 1 for redmi k70 and there is old style. So, if I update to hyperos 2 will I loose old control centre or is still there?
2) i read somewhere that for new rom that i will loose custom recovery, and that original recovery will be flashed? Is this problem solved? Are devs implementing custom recovery in new roms?

Already answered in this thread multiple times - yes, the old style is gone.

No, there's nothing to solve, it's intentional. It's up to you to flash a custom recovery if you want it, we don't add them to the ROMs anymore.
The primary method of flashing is via fastboot.

Either the maker of the theme makes a compatible version, or you make it yourself.
The compatibility with MIUI 14 themes is almost non-existent.

So I need PC to update the rom, to flash custom recovery And root?

Is it possible to completely remove recovery from rom? So that recovery we already have remains the same?

You can flash it via recovery and then flash an Android 15-compatible TWRP as an image to recovery partition before rebooting.
If you remove recovery.img from the ROM's ZIP before flashing, and you have Android 14-compatible TWRP - your device might not boot.

Thank you for the quick reply!
Unfortunately there are almost no themes that are compatible with HyperOS that adapt all system apps, not even in the Themes app. I have already tried to adapt system apps for a theme, for example: com.android.contacts. This package has the same name as under Miui 14. Unfortunately the theme was not adopted in Contacts, for whatever reason. Is there perhaps a current theme editor for HyperOS 2.0 that makes the theme easier?

Many thanks in advance!

That seem fine, but i have one little question
I am on a14 now with 14-twrp, and updating to a15
Should i flash twrp15 then rom-15 then twrp15 again
Or
Flash rom-15 with twrp14, and then twrp15
?
Also, can i flash magisk and lsposed immediately after rom and recovery ,or is reboot needed inbetween

Hi team,
Can I upgrade from v1.0 to v2.0 for K60 using TWRP without formatting the data?
I wouldn't recommend it since it's a14 to a15

I'm backing up all data now for clean install, I always have problems when i dirty flash between android versions but maybe that's just my luck

Because having the same package name isn't enough. The themed element names must match with the app itself.

Is there perhaps a current theme editor for HyperOS 2.0 that makes the theme easier?
No idea.

Same as me, IA eraser does not save changes.

As now my ishtar after some time seems to be stable, hope for someone who has the random reboot, check the battery remaining time as happened to me, that now show the proper time after charging.
Yes, the last 5-6 times that the phone crashed the remaining battery time was 1 minute right after reboot even thou i was on 70sh % battery.

The "clear cache when device is locked" was (by default??) set on 5 minutes. I tried disabling it, setting it to 1 minute and did not notice any change. I tried plugging it in, it still showed 1 minute and than it crashed.
