Xiaomi 14 Houji gpay works well, the only thing that doesn't work at the moment is the voice shutter for photos and also the palm operation

I just want to report that DADA_OS2.0.203.0.VOCCNXM_15 gallery editor has its main menus(AI, Basic, Create & Beautify for photo editor) in Chinese language even if the device language is set to English. The rest of the UI are in English though. This happens on both the Photo & Video editor. Reverting to the older version of MiMediaEditor fixed the language problem for me.

Palm shutter works fine. Make sure you use it in front camera, it won't work in back camera. "Cheese" works for me, but only when language is set to English.
yes it's true the palm function works, I use the Italian language even if I give the command "cheese" it doesn't work!

I've just bought a Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G and want to install the Xiaomi.EU ROM and just have some questions. One of the main reason to install it is the call recording ability.
(1) What does "Our ROMs are not pre-rooted." mean?
(2) The install instructions (for e.g. "Installing with Fastboot" option) is fool proof? If I follow the steps I can't brick my brand new phone for sure? Which method is the most recommended (Fastboot / TWRP / Updater)?
Previously when I installed Xiaomi.EU ROM on my Redmi Note 10 Pro I couldn't lock the bootloader back after flashing and as far as I know it is not secure ...
(3) Can I switch back to the original (factory) ROM somehow? Maybe using the same method? How can I make a backup about the factory ROM?

It was from a dirty flash. I'll check and see if it fixes it after I factory reset. Thanks!
Update: Factory Reset did fix this issue. It was weird as clearing the data didn't fix it at all, but factory reset did.

I can't see anything with this Twrp after i upgrade android 15. I want to update new version but i don't have PC. I just have another android device but Bugjaeger can't find my Xiaomi 13, so i can't update twrp or firmware. What can i do now? Thanks for reading.

From Termux, with debug mode enabled, etc., you can do it with another Android device. But you have to know how to do it. If you don't know what I'm talking about, don't even try it because you'll just brick it.

I have the same problem. Tried all possible variants. It is not connected to the device in the car, it also works with older devices without problems. Let me mention that it is about wifi connection on android auto. It either hangs and hangs up and later throws an error or doesn't connect at all.

And we are all thankful for that support which lasted all these years. With that said, people come here and ask about this because it used to work for a long time, and it doesn't anymore - and people are lazy to use google to find the right official post to mention this.
What would certainly help people and you - you = admins having to waste time on all this "nonsense" - would be to put a sticker post prominently visible in the forum summarizing the issue (that gpay is broken and will remain so, and that the only way to get it to work is to root, or to revert to the standard rom, with ideally some instructions on how to do it)
I hope it's not a dump question. Whenever I want to update through TWRP I can't restart in TWRP and land in the Chinese bootloader instead. If I flash TWRP newly it works once but have to do it again next time I want to update. Is there something I can do to avoid that?

Answer added to Q&A. I assure you that this will change nothing, because people seem to need special invitations to read announcements and sticky threads.
As for "instructions on how to revert to the standard rom", not sure how reverting to stock ROM is something we should instruct.
It's like expecting Linux distros to give instructions on how to revert back to Windows or something...

Hello, I am having an issue with Poco F5 (marble) HyperOS 2.0..6.0 where I am unable to change between apps using the overview/task view button and double tapping does nothing. Reboot does fix the problem temporarily but goes back to the "broken" state after a few hours, also is there a way to switch back to old notifications/control center from HyperOS 1/MIUI?
