Updated my Xiaomi 14 (Houji) successfully to the latest version. However, I've noticed that I can no longer make Edge Gestures (an app) to work whenever I am on another app (like Facebook or Reddit). I had to go back to the home screen for Edge Gestures to work. I think this might have to do with "Display Over Other Apps" or something. I've disabled and re-enabled that feature, but it didn't change anything. Is there a fix for this?

Not using Facebook or Reddit app, but no issues with Edge Gestures here.

By the way this strange "defrag" thing didn't happen for a few days now. Has anyone an idea, where it came from? Meanwhile I could find with the "hidden settings" app an entry,
"com.miui.optimizecenter.power.PowerAccelerationActivity"
but nothing to config or set anywhere.
I assume that poweraccelertion doesn't do much more than using battery; whatever, just ignoring...

Are you using the firmware and then loading a global modem after?
Do you have the consistent modem reset? Where every so often it will crash and restart? When I am using Android Auto and this happens it disconnects each time. Had the issue in hyperOS 1 and still in 2, but I haven't the latest firmware. It will never drop if on a phone call, but if not on a phone call it's free game when it will randomly crash and restart which affects your wifi and cellular connection.

How to make wallpapers slideshow in Wallpaper Carousel working? I set both Lock screen slideshow and Home screen slideshow but only wallpapers changed on Locks screen, Home screen not change. In china build working normal. Thanks!

sapphiren user here with 2.2 updates. Honestly this is way better transition for potato phone than 2.0 ver. I hope dev keep it.
But i haven't seen any aod "same as lockscreen" feature, am i forgor or it's exist? Also eu widget doesn't fixed yet till this update

After updating my Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra (star) to HyperOS 2, the screen flickers or blinks with every notification — even when the screen is already on.
I’ve tried disabling all possible visual effects, including notification effects, floating notifications, and Always-On Display animations.
I also turned off all animations via Developer Options, booted into Safe Mode, and even did a full reset of all settings — but nothing has worked.
This issue only started after the HyperOS 2 update.
I’ve also performed a full reinstallation, but the problem still persists and remains very distracting and frustrating.
Please suggest a possible solution, as this significantly affects usability.
Also, I’m not the only one reporting this bug — other users are experiencing the same problem.

My xiaomi 13 pro (nuwa) notes app search doesn't work after I updated to the latest rom. When I typed the word it would show on which notes I typed it to but when I clicked on the note it didn't jump to the exact word I typed

I think if your bootloader is unlocked only, as that is mostly what's triggering integrity issues.

I may be wrong and it could be OS level but to my knowledge it's root/unlocking causing it

But how can you install xiaomi eu rom without root/unlocked bootloader?
