all my banking apps are broken now with the new update for vermeer. either the banking apps updated or something to do with the ROM update.

anybody with vermeer with working banking apps? specially from the philippines?

I want to get DITIN 203 (xiaomi.eu_DITING_OS2.0.203.0.VLFCNXM_15.zip) but can't find anywhere.
Is there a storage that save older updates somewhere?

I don't have it in 206. But 208. Always appears on fourth super image sending, tried with different cables and same result... Don't know why.

Hi, apbucaneg0816. I installed the latest ROM for Vermeer provided by the developers in this forum. All bank apps (e.g., Chase and American Express) are working well for me so far. So, I believe that the ROM should be fine.

Try:
- verify checksums
- download and reinstall latest fastboot driver
- if these fail, try a different PC.

Hi, apbucaneg0816. I installed the latest ROM for Vermeer provided by the developers in this forum. All bank apps (e.g., Chase and American Express) are working well for me so far. So, I believe that the ROM should be fine.

Banking apps are a vague term. Without any further comments, a banking app from a bank A may look for and require completely different security than a banking app from the bank B

Specially, banking and similar apps from particular countries might be very demanding

(Btw also, the latest leaked KB was revoked today, causing that spoofing the unlocked BL currently doesn't work - related to those who maybe need and use that for their banking and similar apps)

I'm having trouble updating via updater app. Keeps taking me to Xiaomi recovery menu for wipe data, reboot and some other option I forget. But no option to update without PC?

If you don't have a working TWRP installed, you can't update without a PC.

The battery life in this update is much worse than before. Hope it get fixed in a next update...

There were a couple of issues with previous version:
- in notifications, mail app would show chinese symbols instead of original language captures
- pressing volume up button during alarm ringing would increase the volume of the alarm in system
- launcher is continuously restarting when the wallpaper is set to a super wallpaper, particularly Red Planet, and there is a Display Port via USB-C connected
- Analog Watch in AOD is switching to the "Red Planet"'s AOD screen
Are these addressed in the new 217 build?

Well, after install a new version none of these isses is solved.

So, what about these issues - are they present in the original ROM too?
