Icon packs on 14.0.13.0

I just upgraded to 14.0.13.0 and noticed, that I don't like some of the icons. For instance Chrome got a frame around.
All the Google apps have weird frames around with the Standard icon pack. I tried a lot of all the provided online icon packs, but none was matching the old style plain android icon sets without frames. Can I install something like that from the Google Play store?

Using Nova launcher it's even worse. It makes a shaping with every icon by default. If setting the option to [X] Use old Android-7.1 icons if available, it's a bit better and more matching my taste to have old style simple icons without shaping. But then there is still a too small icon for Google chat and a square shaped icon for Google Chrome:

i was struggling with but at the end i learned xiaomi's theming logic and managed to make my own icons as i like then, some i kept the white frame and the other ones changed them , however i update the mtz file each time an app updates its icon( now i am working on hyper os icons)
