I have a few questions regarding my Xiaomi Redmi 13 Pro+. The device originally came with a Chinese ROM, which the seller changed to a Global ROM. Now, I want to install the EU ROM, but I’m encountering an issue.
When I tried to use the Mi Unlock Tool, it asked me to log in to my Xiaomi account. However, it requires an SMS verification to my registered phone number, which I haven’t set up yet. I attempted to register a phone number through the phone settings, but the country code is fixed at +86 (China), and I can’t change it. I also tried to update it via the web page, but there is no option to add a recovery phone number.
Could anyone help me with this issue?
