Issue using Google Voice to place calls - solved

I have a Google Voice number and have installed Google Voice on my MI-2A phone.

I set GV to use GV for all calls. When I place a call, the caller id displayed at the receiver's phone is my real cell phone number, and NOT the GV number. I also noticed that there are no placed calls listed in my GV app.

Doesn't look like GV is actually placing the call to do its magic. GV is managing my voicemails OK.

I don't think I've done anything wrong with my usage of GV, so I wonder if it's something to do with MiuiAndroid. I'm using MIUI-3.6.28

Is anyone successfully using GV to place calls?

Thanks, James

So, I figure out a solution to this - not sure if it's a bug?

In Settings > Apps > Google Voice > Permissions Management, turn on "I trust this App". By default it was off which meant that various permissions where either set to ? or X. When I turn on the "I trust this App", all the permissions are set to OK (check mark).

Seems to me that when installing Google Voice, these permissions should also be set up so that it will work correctly...
