Hey guys, after I was searching for such a solution, for a longer time, here the answer:

We can modify /system without issues under Android 10:

Just use latest TWRP (recovery-TWRP-3.4.2B-1206.img by LR team)
than I used:
xiaomi.eu_multi_HMK30Pro_20.8.7_v12-11.zip

root with latest magisk 21.1
than use Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_11.02.2020

and you are good to go.
no hang on reboot after modifying /system

What's the advantage to modify system partition When all changes will be lost after a rom update?
Simply root with magisk and install your MODs as modules.
Modules remain intact even after system updates.
Much much better! And future proof without all the stress of modify after each update.

N.B: no proof that dynamic partitions can be modified as of date

Alright, i get you. And its good to want to share knowledge :)
However since you have root, stick with magisk modules as it is safer, cleaner and more stable approach.

You can modify ANYTHING inside /system using magisk,...apps, xml, libs, media, etc....systemlessly!

right, i see too, magisk is more beautiful way to achieve those changes (and longer lasting)
i think also it is much more safe.

By the way, I used your module template for some apps (Elixir System)
and it works just like a charm.
Thnaks again
