Xiaomi Jinshan Guard Provider - Safe

Hi everyone,

We've had a few people on the forum and IRC asking us what this JINSHAN_GUARD_PROVIDER apk is.

Basically it was mentioned in the Changelog this week that there was a new interception database added to the ROM, this JINSHAN GUARD PROVIDER compliments the AntiSpam system app with a new set of interception and security functions.

For now we see no reason for alarm, the app is not doing anything it shouldn't be. It's really no worse than having something like Lookout Security on your Android device.

We ship the ROM stock English. So you don't have to change it. This means your not running a MIUIAndroid build. Please go here: http://miuiandroid.com/community/link-forums/roms.73/

Find your phone and flash via recovery.

It was translated this week. The initial release it was not, because we didn't know the APK existed. Its fully translated as of 2.5.18

It doesn't have a public APK that you see. Its all in the background.
