Mi 11 / Xiaomi.eu 13 Stable Telstra SMS Not Received

Hi All,

I recently clean flashed MIUI 13 stable on my Mi 11 (Venus CN version) and gave it to my wife who is using it on the Telstra network in Sydney Australia.

However, she isn't receiving all SMS being sent. Maybe 1/3 get through... weird right. VoLTE and VoWIFI don't work either.

Any suggestions on how to fix the SMS problem? I can live with no VoLTE etc but need all SMS to arrive.

Replying to my own post for the googlers out there.

Even in another handset - Pixel experience - no VoLTE and no VoWIFI.

However, I fixed the sms problem by re-inserting the sim card, resetting network settings and allowing a refresh of APNs etc.
SMS are received reliably now.
