thank you so much, and can i install this without wiping everything and just install on MIUI9 ?
You might give it a shot, do a backup before though... You're about to downgrade a major MIUI version (9 to 8), theoretically data partition should be wiped to be sure there's no leftover.

Yep, still not fixed. I guess they're working on it, though as it affects apps that are not used in China the dev team has other priorities. @zeork do you have any news about this issue?
This bug its very specyfic... China users dont use Gapps, we have only this issue. Maybe They think its small bug. Developers/Admins and China Beta Team know about this issue.

I'll do today to just try to install over MIUI9, I'll let you know if it possible without wiping data. ;)

So, i just installed from TWRP MIUI 8.5.4.0 and only problem appeared that Android.process.com Has stopped and was keeping stopping in every 2-3 seconds , so i'm installing now with Wipe method.

You must do wipe data because when You downgrade without wipe data, You get FC android.google etc.
Hope now will not be anymore video zooming problem , i tried on Facebook before wipe and i think there was not zooming on videos ))

Hehe i wrote about that before. When You downgrade to old roms You must do wipe data, because You will have this FC.
Just go to twrp and do wipe data, no need new install rom :) remeber wipe data delete all Yours data, files etc, copy to Pc, before You do that.

Zooming video its not fixed bug, its still on 7.12.21/25/26/27/28 :)
Probably 8.5.4.0 have this issue too, but i can mistake. I think this issue not have 8.1.19.0 etc and old Developer Rom Miui 8.
Install older Miui 8 Developer (Beta) earlier than the last 3 roms Miui 8 dev

So just finished installing MIUI 8.5.4.0 , at this moment i didn't noticed any Zoom issue and also VoLte is enabled

Currently downgrading to MIUI 8. The video zoom issue is quite annoying since I spend a lot of my time watching videos on apps such as YouTube and Instagram and the workaround doesn't work on IG at all.

Another minor annoyance I've found with the Mi 5c is that the camera does this weird "delay" when taking a photo. Instead of capturing the image that the camera "sees" when the shutter is pressed, the image that comes out is whatever the camera was "seeing" a second before taking the picture. Happens on both front and back cameras. I'm surprised apparently no one has mentioned it yet.

On that same note, the picture quality can be pretty diabolical in certain situations, but even with decent lighting I've had blurry shots where one could barely see the picture detail. I believe this is more of an optimization issue on MIUI's end though since the camera seems to be much better quality in the app than it is on the actual photos.

I'm wondering if there are any workarounds for the two issues I've mentioned. Even a simple tip to improve picture quality would be great help...

I've just installed MIUI 8.5.4.0, everything works smooth and correctly :) no any issues at this moment .

Glad to hear that! I really love and miss MIUI 9 though, so I hope this will get resolved in the coming weeks...
I dont have and dont heard about Mi Camera issue. All work fine. Probably its only on Your phone this happened. Try flash via Xiaomilfash with fastboot rom with option clean all.

Do you think that'll work? I've already done a few wipes and clean installs with a couple of different roms and they're all pretty much the same thing with the camera. It isn't that much of a deal breaker for me anyway, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to try. Thank you!

Hi guys, what about 4G/LTE connection on 9.1.5.0.NCJCNEI?

Last night I made an update from 8.5.3 (pre-installed in a brand new phone) to 9.1.5.0NCJCNEI (xiaomi.eu stable) via TWRP.
And HAVE NO 4G/LTE connection only H (HSPA) - max. download 3 Mbps.
Already tired 5 MODE in 'Radio Access Tec' - not working.

Modem: ABIES.R11.T06-90826e7-6698c77
Mobile: Orange Poland

On 8.5.3 I had 4G connection (20 Mbps) but Google Account did not work properly (couldn't do a contacts sync).
I had to switch from 3 MODE to 5 MODE.

UPDATE: when I turn on WiFi sometimes it shows LTE on a status bar, but when I switch data transmission to SIM it goes to H speed.

I've manage to run LTE/4G for one minute.

Hej. Można też spróbować usunąć APN i zrestartować telefon.
Ja bym Ci radził zrobić flash komórki za pomocą najlepszego Xiaomiflash(Miflash 2017) w trybie fastboot z użyciem ostatniego China developer 7.12.28 fastboot rom(nazwa kodowa meri) z opcja clean all ( tylko nie clean all and lock, bo zablokujesz bootloader). Jak przejdziesz przez konfigurację chińskiego Miui. Wyłącz telefon. Wejdź w fastboot znowu, za pomocą minimal adb and fastboot command wgraj twrp(nazwa twrp song).
Swipe to wipe i reboot to system.

Czemu polecam dev?

Powodzenia i pozdrawiam.

A tu masz najnowszą z 12 grudnia 2017.
http://uploadfile.pl/pokaz/1315671---qaag.html

Hi. I do not know how on Xiaomi.eu the more on Stable, but on China Stable or Dev no one complained about such a mistake, everyone has 4G. Personally, I use the Developer (Beta) China version, both Miui8 and 9. I have Play. Maybe you can see in the SIM settings whether you have selected 3G or manual set transmitter. You can also try to delete the APN and restart the phone.
The only option is 5 mode that you need to set in the song assistant, which you have done for 100% because you have 3G. If you still had 3 mode you would have only 2G. This is not a problem. There was no one in China and there is no problem.
I would advise you to make a cell flash using the best Xiaomiflash (Miflash 2017) in fastboot mode using the last China developer 7.12.28 fastboot rom (code name meri) with the option clean all (only not clean all and lock, because you block the bootloader). As you go through the configuration of Chinese Miui. Turn off the phone. Enter fastboot again, use minimal adb and fastboot command to load twrp (name twrp song).
If you get a password, click back, wipe-format data, undo, reboot to recovery (not to the system) after restarting to twrp, connect to Pc and lose the last Xiaomi.eu under Mi5c version 7.12.28. Install, after installation, you do not do reboot, only return system, wipe - advanced wipe and check: data, cache, dalvik, internal storage. Swipe to wipe and reboot is a system.
After configuring Xiaomi.eu, you enter the assistant song, switch from 3 to 5 mode and give you a save and restock the phone.
You already have 4/3 / 2G. At stable and dev China Miui 8 and 9 I have always checked.
Additionally, you can have Volte while having Orange.
After that you call Orange and ask you to restart the Volte service, you wait for some time to reboot your phone and you have Volte.

Możemy po polsku? :)
