[Mi 8] [Review] [Weekly Review] MIUI 11 Xiaomi.EU Beta 9.12.26

Hi MIUIers,

I am starting a new series to discuss what's new and bugs happening in EU beta ROMs. It will be helpful if some of you can report and confirmed the issue here to official Xiaomi.EU website. So without further ado, let's get started!

WHAT'S NEW
1. New sunlight mode.
Automatically adjust brightness to strong ambient light when auto-brightness is turned off.

2. Added sets of new sky filters in Gallery.
Lots of new sky filters available in Gallery edit mode.

3. Added settings menu for Screen Time.
Avoid visual cluttering in Screen Time and also added functionality to create home screen shortcut.

4. Added focus peaking shortcut in Pro Camera mode.
Easily access focus peaking feature on top of Pro Camera mode.

NEW BUGS

BUGS FIXED
- None

REMAINING BUGS
1. Data usage settings do not follow SIM Card choice.

2. Dynamic font-weight feature doesn't work in Second Space.

Good update overall! It feels much smoother on this update, just wondering is the sunlight mode feature were added by China Beta Team or Xiaomi.eu developers itself @Igor Eisberg ? It's rare to see such system-level feature being added to the Mi 8 (2018).

It's an official MIUI feature, we don't have that low-level access to system code.

I faced this issues before ... The reason was I wiped all partition with TWRP and flashed miui eu rom ....
you can solve this matter by flashing GLOPAL ROOM with flash tool via fastboot
and remember when you update your rom to miui eu just wipe SYSTEM , DATA

I did a dirty flash
No wipe systeme. Juste cache dalvik
I lost this option 16h after did the update

Ok what ever you did .... Try flashing global rom
I think it will fix that... if the problem not hardware issues

Try this Maybe fix it :
Setting - app - manage app - 3 dots - show all app and find ( fingerprintextensionservice )
and clear all data .... Reboot you phone

I am sorry for that ... But you can try clean flash rom again ... You should wipe Data and System

I dont have that option in Brightness setting
