Hi MIUIers,
I am starting a new series to discuss what's new and bugs happening in EU beta ROMs. It will be helpful if some of you can report and confirmed the issue here to official Xiaomi.EU website. So without further ado, let's get started!
WHAT'S NEW
1. Redesigned shortcuts on lock screen.
2. Improved Dual Space feature.
Redesigned UI and added ability to change certain options for selected apps
BUGS FIXED
- FIX issue with holding the power button 0.5s to open Google Assistant.
REMAINING BUGS
1. Quick snap (Picture/Video) broke.
2. Dynamic font-weight feature broke several third-party apps font boldness (e.g. WhatsApp).
3. Ongoing notification (e.g. Download progress) will make AOD animation glows continuously until the ongoing notification disappeared.
4. PIP didn't works properly when swiping up to home screen or Recents when using PIP supported apps (for full-screen gesture only)
Decent update, I do wish MIUI China Beta will fix the issues of PIP and return the animation of apps transition from last Android P beta of Mi 8. Nonetheless, good job Xiaomi.EU developers!
