Hi MIUIers,

Welcome back to my thorough review of this week Xiaomi.EU beta ROM! Please report and confirmed if you encountered same issues too. Now let's get started!

WHAT'S NEW
1. New gesture to switch from notification shade to control center.
Swipe upper right corner of notification shade to view control center.

2. New scanner shortcut in control center.
Directly switch to Scanner app for easier access.

3. Improved MIUI permission manager.
MIUI now depends on both stock Android and MIUI permission manager. Most of primary permissions can be managed by MIUI permission manager now.

4. Factory reset option now moved to 'My device' section.

5. Noticeable improvement in full screen gestures experience.
The animation appear much responsive and quicker with new darker shade transition in the background of Recents screen.


NEW BUGS
1. Unable to exit Game Booster through the button and missing string in Play button.

BUGS FIXED
- Same as listed down on official changelog


REMAINING BUGS
1. Notifications buttons padding incorrectly displayed for certain third-party apps Can be clearly seen at floating notification and notification shade.

2. Picture in Picture (PiP) broke.
Youtube and other apps that support PiP can't be activated properly in small PiP window.

3. Black screen on video panel when minimizing app to floating window.
Steps to reproduce: Play Youtube video, swipe up to float the app, and black screen will emerge.

4. Dynamic font-weight feature doesn't work in Second Space (Make the entire UI appears thin).

Nice update! I am really glad they do improve the full screen gestures. The performance were noticeably faster than before.
Definitely recommend to update to this build

I moved to Zenix os to feel a true SD845 device. Maybe i will back to Miui 12 in next 2 months, when it gets more stable.

This might be little bit weird, but my banking apps (at least here in my country) is working fine since the first build of MIUI 12. It never works properly back in MIUI 11

Yes.. Go to App info > App behaviour > Permissions > Get Device info.... And allow it

Mi 8 never supported L1, why wouldn't it be L3?

All devices that support Camera2 API that previously had Camera app version 3 have received version 4.
Devices without Camera2 API support that had Camera app version 2, still have it.

Thank you but I was talking about the boot animation...
In Mi9SE already have Camera 4 since begining...

Yeah, not Mi 8 series and Mi MIX 2S though, they received it just now.
I believe what I said also applies to the boot animation. Mi 8 and Mi MIX 2S received it at the same time they received Camera v4, which was on last Monday's Closed Beta.
