Invalid [mi9se][9.6.27] scrolling screenshot

Have tried using this a few times and it's not working. Scrolling doesn't happen. I hadn't tired to use this feature on any of the previous versions of the beta ROMs.

Just had more of a play, it seems to work in the settings area of the ROM, but does not work with chrome or Gmail.

The scrolling feature only officially supports MIUI apps, including the MIUI Browser app.
Chrome and Gmail are not MIUI apps.

Nothing dumb about it. What's dumb is that there is still no standardized way of taking scrolling screenshots in Android, and Xiaomi are not to blame for that.
While Xiaomi offers the feature for a long time now, Google doesn't seem to care that much.

Stock Android has long missed out on scrolling screenshots. Although early word said the feature would never come to stock, it looks like that's not true.

Samsung's implementation works throughout, never had an issue with that (I have a much loved s7 still with me). So, yes, even though there isn't a standardized way, it can be done.
