someone at GSMARENA have tested it and found that it is beta rom and require authorized Mi account to use it.
Does this mean that I would not be able to run it, so no point to flash it?
I have K20pro Chinese version, running xeu ROM currently.
Thanks for any tip.

I m planning to flash 10.4.4 on my k20pro running xiaomi.eu 10.3.17, do i need to change to android q supported twrp before flashing? Thank in advance

After dirty flash on Mi 9SE over the previous version (10.3.3.0) volte on sim 1 disappeared. Tried everything. Now is making reflash. Other things are working great. Thanks a lot.
After reflash (another dirty flash) volte is present only on sim 2. Any ideas if I can install some kind of script. Thanks guys.

I've flashed 10.4.4 over 10.3.17 via updater app manually. All works just fine for me
Could you just tell me which recovery are you using? It seems like I have an encryption issue, and I need to change twrp

I am using xiaomi.eu 10.3.16.0 on a Mi 9T Pro (EU version). Is the china based firmware a problem for this EU device or is it OK?
Having 2 problems with this ROM: Sometimes no audio and choppy video (YouTube), reboot fixes it. Sometimes no deep sleep at all (kernel wakelock, not an app wakelock according to BBS). Known issues?
Thanks!

Someone checked the situation with volte on the both Sims?

There is no problem if i wipe system? Like bootloop or soft brik? Also no needed to format data?

Guys, why is it so difficult to follow the instructions in Post #1? You have already installed TWRP - so start at /FORMAT ....
NEVER wipe /system before flashing eu roms. NEVER.
If you aren't a pro regarding android - just follow the instructions.

If your updater is checking the device (getprop in script) you will end with Error 7 with a wiped /system partition.
If there is no device verification - you are lucky. But you have an higher risk by accidentally flashing wrong roms.

Well, it worked in your situation. But what is the reason to advice someone a different way as adviced by the devs?

Look at this.

So If someone attempt to move from stable eu to stable cn rom then still we shouldn't do system wipe?

Why should someone do this? And again, why do you advice it?

Honestly, you can flash on YOUR device whatever you want in any way you want. Years ago there was a persistent rumor on XDA which told that someone was able to flash a zipped ham sandwich on his android. ;-)
But I'm getting nervous when someone is giving an advice, which is different from the dev's one - as long a there is no need to.

You should not tell inexperienced users to go a different way as long as there is no serious reason for it.
If they end in a brick - who's responsible?
