Bumping it up, having the same issue, any suggestions?
Possibly the issue is under the magisk modules you use. If You didn't install the mm module which can help you remove magisk module via terminal, then the only way now is to run the magisk removal zip to remove magisk totally. Then reinstall magisk again, you should be fine after that.

It was a clean flash, I don't even have any modules yet.
I have the Magisk Uninstaller zip, that's what I'm using to regain ability to boot. But trying to install Magisk again isn't effective, tried a lot of versions too (18.0, 18.1, 19.0, 19.3, 20.0).

Hmm.. that's pretty weird as far as I know.
You can try:
1. Install magisk manager 7.3.5 apk
2. Reboot to twrp recovery
3. Install Magisk v.20.0.
4. Install force encryption Disabler.
5. Clear dalvik cache, reboot

This will wait around 5 to 10 minutes if not wrong.

Followed the steps exactly, didn't work, now it's a bootloop (device stuck at POCOPHONE for about 5 seconds, turns off, gets stuck again, rinse and repeat).

I was running Pixel Experience since day three of owning this phone, now I wanted to give MIUI 11 a shot, but without Magisk it's as good as dead to me :(

Hmm...You mentioned clean flash. You wipe all the data including system, data, cache, dalvik, right? After that, you flash the miui Eu 11?
Sorry to ask so much on this because my poco works with magisk. So I was wondering is there anything trigger the boot loop. I wish I can have your poco so I can check. Lol.

I would suggest you to take o look on this XDA thread. You can ask questions here about your issues.

Yeah that's exactly what I did.
I already asked on xda but I'm open to suggestions from either.

Hmm.. tried ask in the thread I shared just now. More people will see it and might have more suggestion for your issue.

Update: try run the magical uninstaller and install the magisk 17.1. Some said worked.
Thank you, Magisk 17.1 was the key! Now it works, but having to go so many versions back just to have it not break the boot process... Oh well.

For anyone else who has this issue, this is exactly what I did (if this matters, I used TWRP 3.3.0 for this):
- Flash Magisk Uninstaller
- Flash Magisk 17.1 or 17.0
- Wipe data/cache
- Boot to OS, update Magisk Manager to latest version
- Go back to recovery and flash Magisk 20.0 (or whatever the latest version is at the moment you're reading this)
- It works!

Now I hope I won't be seeing difficulties when running OTA updates...

Congrats.. keep this old magisk 17.1 just in case you need it in future.
Lol...
As long as it works, worth to keep.
Btw, enjoy.

I can no longer cast from my Mi 9 to my Sony Bravia TV unlike in MIUI 10. My wife's old Redmi Note 3 Pro can still cast in mere seconds.

Anyone else has the same issue like me?

How to change from this stable to latest weekly? Something special to consider (because of Android Update 9 to 10) or usual flashing?
Thank you!

Hello, install Magisk-v20.0.zip is required on this rom or only if you want to be root ?
No-root rom of origin ?
Sorry for my bad english ... :-D

Is it me or is picture quality much worse than in miui 10? When I look at pictures I take with the camera app in miui 10 and compare them with pictures I take with camera app in miui 11 there is a big differences in quality, sharpness en detail.
