Weekly -> Stable = Downgrade (=> Format Data recommended)
Stable -> Weekly = Upgrade (=> Format Data adviced anyway)

I want to upgrade from 20.2.20 weekly to 11.0.5 Stable.
This will be an UPGRADE cause Stable is newer than my weekly ROM.
Do I still need to format data?
Or just dirty flash will work?
Thanks for the reply...

Just back everything up anyway, and try dirty flash,it works for some people, but if it doesn't you can just format data then, I've seen people say it can work,I tried on mi 9 lite and it would not boot up,so had to format data and flash and all was good,so just have all backed up in the cloud and other files on SD card or pc.

So now i have installed the V11.0.6.0.PCOCNXM on my Redmi Note 8.
Finally it works without Bootloop!
And the Bluetooth on/off finally works great!

Thank you Team for work on the Bugs and the fast Work!

@ingbrzy

I have updated the Mi9T Pro ROM. The installation finishes ok, but the ROM does not start, it is a loop.

I have tried cleaning dalvik cache / cache, and installing it, but nothing.

I would not like to format the mobile, , but the only solution is to erase data?

Hi friend, how did you get the update installed without bootloop?¿

Solved. Update the TWRP from 3.3.1-0 to the TWRP 3.3.1-32, I installed the ROM again and then flashed the "DisableForceEncryption" zip.
And bootloop resolved.
I hope it helps.
Greetings.

You can try flashing back the rom you came from.

Any full changelog for 11.0.7.0 Mi 9? I can find some (camera vlog mode, camera a bit revamped pro mode, dark mode in browser, fix screen recorder, etc.), but might also miss some, so it's better if the changelog comes from the developer itself, in a full form, not generalized.

I have just installed it. I noticed some changes in the settings and more options. The camera app has more options too including Vlog shooting . The security patch was also updated. Phone feels faster. Fingerprint scanner responses quicker. Not sure yet about battery drain. See attached photos.

Thanks team. Love ❤❤
