Only one problem has occurred.

The settings made, didn't survive a reboot. The default profile "ROW_Commercial" got reactivated after a reboot.

I had to delete it and "Commercial-MTS" remained active even after a reboot!

PS: I knew the XDA thread allready, the tip with "Commercial MTS" made the difference...

Running in to a very similar issue, on my Mi Max 3 I was only able to have VoLTE working, and I figured VoWiFI just wasn't possible, but on my Mi Note 10 the global ROM had both working out of the box, this was on the exact same sim.
Only after I switched to xiaomi.eu did both stop working. Since my max 3 was working I'm thinking it could either be a change from miui 11 -> miui 12 (didn't try xiaomi.eu miui 11) or a difference between global and China/xiaomi.eu.

I tried the PDC tool but couldn't get the right profile for tmobile US to appear, and the modem settings through the kernel version and activity launcher both were fruitless.
