I have now the Mi 11 with the "weekly.eu ROM" ! In principal i am happy.
BUT Due to the fact that i need to open an APP a locked Bootloader i might have to swith to the GLOBAL ROM.

Now my question:
1.) After installing the Global ROM from scratch is it possible then to look the bootloader or is it then automatically locked?
2.) Befor installing the Global ROM do i have to do anything special ? ( I know that all DATA on my phone get lost ....)

Many
THANKS

It's great to see an updated stable release based on Android 11 for the Redmi Note 8.

One major thing I've noticed are the notifications both on the lock screen and notifications drop-down.

The quick reply option is all messed up and notifications look strange in general, like they're not aligned properly for the space they're in (i.e. the "Mark as Read" button looks like it's at the very edge of the notification)

I've also noticed that notifications tend to not update the correct number/sender info when more than one person is sending me a message - for example: Contact 1 sends me a message and I receive a notification showing Contact 1. Then when Contact 2 sends me a message, their message/notification is displayed, but shows as coming from Contact 1.

Does anyone know if these issues are also currently in the weekly/beta releases? I love the polished look of MIUI 12 but the notifications being broken as they are is a major issue for me

Please Iam a bit confused which one TWRP to flash on my MI8 to flash MI8_V12.0.4.0.QEACNXM_v12? btw my xiaomi mi 8 is chinese version with unlocked bootloader and flashed with global miui rom.... please for help :)

Hi Guys I'm on the latest stable Rom now and everything works perfectly except for 2 Things. The 1st is Google Play Certification the 2nd is the function to prevent the Apps from using your exact Location. I'm Using a MI 11 China Version.

Is fixed the Play Protect Certified in the stable version 12.5 for Mi9SE (grus) GLOBAL without ROOT?
If it isn't, how can be possible fix it without root/Magisk?

I have a Redmi Note 9S (Curtana) and I see 2 versions available for download:

xiaomi.eu_multi_HMNote9Pro_HMNote9S_V12.0.1.0.RJWMIXM_v12-11.zip

xiaomi.eu_multi_HMNote9Pro_HMNote9S_V12.0.3.0.QJWMIXM_v12-10.zip

My MIUI version is 12.0.3.0 and if I use the 12.0.1.0 that has android 11 does it count as a downgrade? Also the 12.0.1.0 is more recent (2021-02-02) compared to the 12.0.3.0 version (2021-01-21)

Android 10 -> Android 11 can't be a downgrade... ^^
You can update it but I don't recommend it (for now). ;)

That's a pity. I would need a looked bootloader for an APP which i can only use, due to security reason when the bootloader is locked.
But to go back to the "origin" CN ROM is not an option for me.

ANY IDEA what i should do? ( See in the picture why i need a looked bootloader -- [unfortunately only in GERMAN] )

Hello,

If you want to use this app (I don't know why but if it's so important for you...), you should try to do a clean install of V12.0.22.0.RKBCNXM (Stable ROM) instead of using a Beta/Weekly ROM. ;)

And please feedback if it's working or not. :)

Thanks for the INFO, but before i do something it must be 100% sure that i can look the bootloader again.
Because the Origin was the CN ROM and when i switch to the Global Stable ROM i do not know if i can look the bootloader again ...?

By the way. When i go from the weekly.eu.rom to the GLOBAL STABLE ROM do i have to "reset" my phone again or just install from scratch via fastboot?

I don't speak about locking the bootloader and about Global Stable ROM.

Just try to install Xiaomi.eu V12.0.22.0.RKBCNXM Stable ROM (do NOT lock the bootloader) for your device then check if this app is working or not.

;)

As said this i know.
Without looking the Bootloader this APP is not working. So it only helps me when i can look the bootloader again to open this "Austria Government APP"

If you know then you can only install Stable China ROMs on chinese Mi 11 devices, in order to lock the bootloader without issue. ;)

Download the latest Stable China fastboot ROM, extract in the root of your C:/ drive (on your computer), use Mi Flash Tool with "clean all & lock" option. :)

ok -- this is also not an option because i do not want to use the CN ROM.

2 possibilities -- either not to use this app ( a pity) or change the phone ( also a pity)

Will the Updater bring up the latest stable for install or should u download it and update via the Updater?
