Mi Video app is showing as biz_group_search after rebooting on a fresh install of 12.0.8 stable on my K40 Pro.

Xiaomi made that bug. It only happens when dark mode is active.

I met this issue when updating rom on my Mi 11, from 12.5.1 stable to 12.5.2 stable. Pls help, tks.

I have now this xiaomi.eu stable 12.0.3., but OTA upgrade show nothing new, yet new ROM is here. So OTA update stable-stable dont work,or should I wait?

Am I supposed to download this manually or the rom is not released? Im confused because nothing shows on update app

I have the same question right above yours From what I searched, there is possible, that OTA will not work, but you can use this updater with downloaded ZIP, which can work, but I have not tried this and would like to confirm from developers, if OTA stable - stable is functional, or we have to download ZIP and update manually.

Download and install the new ROM for your device manually, the previous Updater app version doesn't work anymore (for checking ROM updates)...

You can still install a new ROM update via Updater app (via 3-dots menu -> Choose update package) or via TWRP, the result is same.

Thanks a lot, worked like a charm. Downloaded ZIP, flashed with Updater, TWRP asked for decrypt, put PIN in and all upgraded with no issues. First boot was quite long, stuck on MIUI logo, but no issues so far.

Yes, SafetyNet passed with vanilla upgrade, Google Pay works, all without Magisk.

Hi there.. where did you find 12.5 stable for cepheus or do you mean weekly? Another possibility is maybe just me getting blind..

For me it worked following:

• Download the ROM
• go to TWRP
• Choose the file to install
• wipe dalvik & cache
• Reboot

That's it, rather easy!

If Android version remains the same If not Needs format data and factory reset .

Check your android version you run now and the version of the one you wanna install

If they are the same flash it from TWRP with wipe dalvik catch after . If not come back for detailed instructions .

12.5 is not available for Mi9 though

Coming from MIUI 11.0.4 Global (A10), which TWRP needs to be flashed for XEU - is it 3.5.1 or some of the older ones (3.4.2 1206, or even 3.4.2.0623)?
