Guys, I tried to search on this thread about updating to the last stable from last weekly available for Mi8 Lite, but didn't found any info about...

Since I'm using the last weekly available for Mi8 Lite, I do need to format data before flashing the last stable version or I can flash it directly as if it was just a regular update?

May I ask why app lanch from cold start is slower than stock global? Is there a way to speed it up? I though this rom was faster than stock

Kudos to all the developers, just flashed the latest stable and finally I found what I have lost in the last few months of fully bugged and crappy official firmware from Xiaomi...
My mi10 now feels like a proper flagship and not a bloody mess that Xiaomi wants with their global firmware...

(Now I'm queueing to unlock and flash my girlfriend's mi note 10 before she will get rid of it)

False expectations result in great disappointments.
More speed is not one of our features and not even something we can guarantee.
 
I also found this bug using my favourite browser on your ROM, everytime I want to copy something from the browser bar a black bar instead appears on top and I have to exist and restart the browser

Hey can someone tell me is there a option to switch app value looks? I was in first one before update from 12.0.6 to 12.5.4 on mi 9t pro. Just ask because its look better and its so much functional. Thanks

Hello all,
Using 12.0.1 on note 8, network problem here too but I noticed that it happens when I got my Bluetooth headphones connected.
I need to switch from 4g to 2g and back to 4g once or twice for the network to work again.
Most of the time the LTE(4G) logo is still there with fair reception but the two small arrows do not blink/work anymore -> no traffic.

Seems like you're a bit confused. Top image is Chinese app vault, buttom one is the Global app vault (available on Play Store).

I see that a new update for VENUS is out. So just boot into TWRP with "fastboot boot twrp.img" and flash through TWRP? And TWRP will stay after I updated, right?

Yes I see that, just asked because on previous rom 12.0.6.0 I was with Chinese version but now on 12.5.4 seems change that to global. Sad for me the Chinese version is much better but not a big deal. Thank you for all work that put in eu roms its gorgeous!

We don't use the Global app vault, so not sure what you're talking about... Go to Manage apps and uninstall the Global app vault...

Is it possible to install the global theme app? I don't understand why you use the chinese one, we are not chinese

Use the search button and maybe you'll understand.
Short answer: Global Themes app is outdated and lacks features. It doesn't even have the "Personalization" screen made for MIUI 12.5.

Yeah I get it but I can't read Chinese and I don't get the majority of the stuff
 
Hi, I see in the MI10T Pro is listed as separate device from the MI 10T.
However I see that the only rom available for this device is the version 12.0.
Has the rom for the MI10T Pro merged into the MI10T for the newer versions?

I see that the 12.6 lists the same rom for both devices.

Is it OK if I flash the 12.5 for the MI10T on my MI10T Pro?

Ooo yes! Somehow I unknowingly installed Global app value and now after I removed it the Chinese version is back! Thanks for the help

Download TWRP on your PC, Download ROM on your device, boot to TWRP (NOT flash!), and flash the newest .zip in TWRP. TWRP will persist after you installed the update.
For future updates, you only have to download the ROM, boot to recovery and flash it.

Most of the app is auto-translated... nothing more I can do for you, ask Xiaomi to make their Global Themes app on-par with the Chinese one.

Do I have to flash twrp first on fastboot to get twrp?
