Wich version of miui did u have installed? and can u find netflix in the playstore? On Mi 11 lite 5g (Renoir) android system drains a lot of battery, 30% with latest rom for me. Anyone has this? How to fix it?
thanksNo Miflash.
Follow the method Installing fastboot ROM.
1. Convinience, and OTA update, if the specific TWRP supports it.Hi, pardon me if this was already answered in other threads. But I'm a newbie on android/Xiaomi devices and I honestly do not understand some of the answers on other thread.
I did my own research but some things are still not clear to me.
My question is:
1. What is the advantage of using TWRP over fastboot installation (other than you need a computer when using fastboot)?
2. Whats the difference of TWRP vs TWRP.ME?
3. Does TWRP support Xiaomi Mix 4 device?
4. What is the difference between TWRP odin-jjhitel vs odin-panda?
5. Does xiaomi.eu ROM works with Mix 4? No Odin on the list of devices on the first page.
This was my first time posting. And excited to try the EU ROM.
Thank you so much brothers & sisters!
This warning still applies:Hi, I have MIX 2s with MIUI 12 20.9.4(weekly), if i change to MIUI 12.5 stable it´s a upgrade or downgrade? and for this model what is the best rom?
1. Fastboot installation of this ROM here is only necessary as long as there is no working custom recovery available for a device. Once it is released there only will be recovery zips for installation.Hi, pardon me if this was already answered in other threads. 1. No. Installation instructions are given several times, please use search.Hi,
I have an 11T Pro and I'll probably flash the rom tomorrow. I have 2 questions however:
1. Since it's a fastboot flash, I can do it through the MiFlash tool, right (wiping data and stuff ofc)?
2. Can I uninstall Mi Dialer and other MiUI stuff, because I prefer the google alternatives? Or at least disable them so I don't have 2 dialers and stuff like that?
But there is no TWRP for my phone. I can't find any info through the search.1. No. Installation instructions are given several times, please use search.
2. You can't uninstall the MIUI (system) apps unless you like system crashes. Disabling some of them - maybe. But this is not the right place to discuss it.

Then use it, but you can't and shouldn't uninstall system apps. These are not the only benefits to the ROM, that's why I want to use it.
Thank you brother! I cannot see twrp for odin on their official website, maybe jjhitel and panda is a fork of the official twrp. Will do my assignment and search for the difference of the two twrp fork.1. Convinience, and OTA update, if the specific TWRP supports it.
2. TWRP is the recovery, twrp.me is the official website for TWRP releases.
3. Wrong question. The question should be: "Is there a TWRP for MIX 4?". TWRP is not a Play Store app, it's a recovery partition that has to be built for each device individually.
There are TWRP releases for MIX 4, and you mentioned both in question 4.
4. No idea, not the place to ask that as we're not involved in any TWRP development.
5. MIX 4 is in the table.
Yeah most devices these days get unofficial forks. Official TWRP development slowed down quite a bit in the last year or two, but with minds like Nebrassy joining the official maintainers, there seems to be some revival.Thank you brother! Learning a lot on Xiaomi devices reading posts from this forum. Thanks a lot fam!
Is the unofficial or twrp fork still safe to use? What could be the disadvantage of using a fork twrp for odin?Yeah most devices these days get unofficial forks. Strange questions. I don't know. I'm not friends with the makers and I can't give any opinion on something I haven't built or never used.Is the unofficial or twrp fork still safe to use? What could be the disadvantage of using a fork twrp for odin?
Sure. But can i still use the official twrp after i used unofficial/fork release?

Time to wrap up this discussion, this is not a TWRP forum.
