MIUI 13 MIUI 13 STABLE RELEASE

Good evening, maybe somebody can support me.
Mi 10 Pro
I am on stable 13.0.4. global rom and want to change to stable xiaomi.eu rom which is now 13.0.5 . Unlock is almost done.
Can I directly flash A12 TWRP (twrp-3.7.0_12-v6.5_A12-cmi-skkk) and install the stable rom afterwards or do i need to flash fastboot rom first ?
Flashing a fastboot version of the Rom isn't necessary.
However, it could make first installation easier

My device is mi 11 pro, on the last version CN rom (A12 of course).
boot the the last TWRP by skkk 3.7.0 for "Mars".
go to "install" and flash the last xiaomi.eu rom 13.0.13.0.
after a few sec, there is an error:

failed to mount '/system_root' no such file or directory
failed to mount '/system_ext' no such file or directory
failed to mount '/product' no such file or directory
failed to mount '/odm' no such file or directory

What am I doing wrong?

It's a TWRP bug

Abbashady already gave you the answer. If you see mounting error when trying to flash a ROM, reboot to recovery again and retry, sometimes this has to be done more than once. Eventually it'll flash normally.

Nonsense chatter cleaned. Avoid pointless discussions, this is not a chat room.

I don't know why my comment was cleared as "nonsense chatter" because that solution doesn't work for everyone, it definitely didn't for me. Trust me I tried those instructions and similar many MANY times when I got the same error. You deleted the working solution I found and shared for some reason as "nonsense chatter", I'm hoping by accident.

The A12 SKKK TWRP builds are just super buggy to install these roms with right now for some devices.
I've had issues every time. The fastboot roms were MUCH more problem free, and I suggest we move back to them for some devices or at least have an option available for the more problematic devices, like Haydn, but since they aren't available I had to find a different workaround (and no rebooting to flash didn't work no matter how many different ways I tried).

Just putting out there, deleting my reply won't make that solution magically valid for everyone when it clearly isn't and didn't work for me. For anyone else coming across this msg because of the same issue, you can see how to use orangefox instead to flash the ROM without any issues here (unless Igor decided he wants to decide my solution is just chatter again delete if for funsies, in that case good luck):

The A13 orangefox builds don't encounter the same issue and installed the ROM for me with a single issue after I spent hours trying to install 13.0.13.0 for Haydn using the lasted A12 SKKK build of twrp (6.5).

Regarding previous post from lemon and answer from Paul Johnson to my previous post before I am a bit nervous to use the A12 SKKK build of twrp (6.5) directly.
Which recovery is included in the fastboot rom MI10Pro_V13.0.4. ?
Is it possible to change from 13.0.4. stable to 13.0.4 xiaomi.eu (fastboot version) due to the fact that it is same version number ?

Fastboot roms do not need or use a custom recovery to install. Just follow the instructions for installing using the fastboot scripts provided with the ROM.

PS - For anyone installing ROM by recovery, trying TWRP first is still fine, nothing to be scared of. It is very buggy, but if you get an error no big deal, just try orangefox next.

Thanks
Ok, that means after fastboot install there is still only a kind of stock recovery ?
TWRP is always a must for me due to magisk and others. Just in case the SKKK version will not work, Is there a working ofox for the Mi10pro with A12 ?

Thanks

You can flash magisk with twrp without any problem. Only some errors are given when installing the rom.

Hi everyone, do you know how to fix gallery error when downloading options and filters?

Every so often when I want to edit a photo or image, it asks me to download the data files, they are not stored.

Xiaomi 12S Ultra -> Estable Release 13.0.11

I guess there is no solution to this. It needs to identify the photo to edit it

I used TWRP to install magisk after flashing my rom with orange fox, even though it was too buggy to install the ROM it still works fine for flashing the patched boot image (or whichever image you need to flash for your device).

But it could download all the AI content once and then do all the AI stuff locally, so the identification of the image content wouldn't need to download the same content every time.
But yes, I think there is no solution until xiaomi fixes it

Did you guys forget about the Mi 9T Pro / raphael phones, or has it been scrapped?
It was on the table some time ago.

Xiaomi did not deliver a MIUI 13 ROM, so Xiaomi.eu stopped waiting and removed the phones from the table.

The chances to have a new MIUI 13 ROM when we are talking about MIUI 14 are incredibly low.

It's sad but Xiaomi is blocking android Smart Lock feature of trusted device/trusted place/wifi.
The trusted bluetooth device can only be used with another Xiaomi device (watch / laptop / etc.).
Finally I got Smart Lock working on my Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE with Xiaomi.eu MIUI 13 / A 12 (Weekly though but it doesn't matter) with Magisk v25, Zygisk-LSPosed and CustoMIUIzer for MIUI 13 (System, Lock screen, Disable screen lock, Enable mod, Disable screen lock, Disable on trusted devices/networks, then Trusted WiFi networks and/or Trusted Bluetooth devices):

Tested, it works for me with my home WiFi and (not a Xiaomi) BT speaker

I know it can be done.
But I was talking about pure MIUI. I personally also use the ROM as released by xiaomi.eu (no mods, no root).

I know that it is disabled in MIUI but I was not aware that it can be easily made working with CustoMIUIzer (time ago I tested with various root apps and tools but with no success; today I finally found that with this new CustoMIUIzer for MIUI 13 it works - actually, according to its Changelog, it was recently fixed)

So I've been using Xiaomi.eu MIUI13 for about five days on my Xiaomi 12T Pro. Despite the battery consumption is a bit high compared with MIUI EEA I still think that not only it's stable but as some features I always loved since my Mi 9.
One of the main reasons I choose to flash xiaomi.eu is that I read that since this ROM is based on China's version of MIUI the sound level restrictions where gone. Well in reality it's not the case. Not the way I thought at least.
The sound restrictions still applies if I choose my country (Portugal) as region, if I apply another "outside Europe" country like India for example the sound gets boosted. Is there any way to avoid his restriction while using my country as phone region?
Thank you very much

I am trying to flash mi Xiaomi 12S Ultra with MIUI 13 STABLE RELEASE, does google pay and google play work just fine after flashing?

Excuse me, for my Mi 11Ultra, the miui version is 13.0.13.0 cn stable version. Can I flash xiaomi eu 13.0.12.0 directly with fastboot?
