Miui 7/8 : 5.1.1 : Apktool

I'm unable to decompile Settings.apk from MIUI 7 v6.5.26 Rom. It fails stating ' Exception in thread "main" brut.androlib.err.UndefinedResObject: resource spec: 0x01010501'. Is there any work around to get this compiled successfully. I was able to decompile MIUI MM apk's, even few months back using a setup (advanced apktool). Now the same setup is failing with above error. I have used the apktool version of 2.1.1. There were links stating MIUI support for apktool has been stopped and i was broken a bit reading that. Is there a way to get this going? Any help is really really appreciated.

Hello @ingbrzy,

jBART (v3h) is also failing with same error. I had used Single File option to de-compile Settings.apk (Redmi Note 3, 6.5.26, downloaded from xiaomi.eu) after putting all the four framework files under 'frameworks_single' folder.
