Hi,

since the V8 (at least the last two dev´s and the 8.0.3.0 stable) google Inbox is crashing, when I am marking mails as "done" and only in case of swiping.
Clean installations and update procedures are heading in this error for me.
I have the Mi5 32gb, no root, no exposed; only a normal installation with google account and all permissions granted for Inbox (included notifications).
Do you have the same error?

Regards,
dtavb

Hmm, thats weird, could you try to fast swipe and see if it persist?

The thing is, if I swipe fast, it works, if I go slow, it crashes...

I assume it's some kind of overlay issue, can you try to upgrade / downgrade / use beta of Android system webview?

Inb4 post a logcat :)

Regards.

Hey

I had this problem too.

There is a temporary 'fix' or workaround.

1. Launch Google Inbox
2. Long press the message/note to select it
3. Press the 'home button' on your device to minimize the app
4. Select Goolge Inbox from your recent app tray on your device (make sure you don't restart the app)
5. Now you can swipe to delete, make memory notes

Now it shouldn't crash.
The bug is in the latest Miui 8. See http://en.miui.com/thread-309940-1-1.html

Hi,
yes that´s it!
Excluding Inbox from Cache/App cleaning procederes of miui8 solves the problem.

Hello Dtavb

I've tried to exclude Inbox in the app battery saver, but this didn't help.
Can you please describe the exact steps that have to been taken?
Thanks.
